Please do NOT book an appointment online for the following:

  • Minor surgery
  • Coils and implants
  • Medicals (eg. Taxi, HGV)
  • 6 week checks
  • Newborn checks
  • Or if you require a translator

If you are unsure or require an appointment for one of the above please telephone reception on 01295 225533 and they will book the appointment for you with the necessary time allocation.

When We Are Closed

If you need urgent medical care when the centre is closed, please call Oxfordshire’s Urgent Care Service (formerly known as the Out-of-Hours Service) on 111. You will then speak to a call handler who will direct your call to the most appropriate person to deal with your problem; either a doctor, nurse or paramedic. If they think you need to be seen, you will be invited to the out-of-hours base unless your medical condition prevents you from leaving home in which case a doctor, nurse or paramedic will visit you at home.

If you simply want medical advice, you can telephone 111 for health information and advice, 24 hours a day. NHS 111 also offers advice on self-management of illness during surgery opening hours for non-urgent conditions.

Accident and Emergency 999

Whatever the day or time, if you or someone you are with experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department or call 999. Accident and Emergency departments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can assess serious injuries and provide emergency treatment.
